From Fighter Runway To Fashion Runway: Martha McSally will participate in prestigious fashion show in NYC on April 9th to raise funds for Wounded Warrior Project

Colonel (retired) Martha McSally, 1st woman in U.S. history to fly a fighter aircraft in combat and first to command a fighter squadron, will fly to New York City this weekend to participate in the “From Scotland with Love” Fashion Show on April 9th to raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project.  Martha will join a host of A-list international celebrities, athletes, models, and wounded warriors to support this vital program that assists wounded servicemen and women returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. This year’s show includes Good Morning America co-anchor Josh Elliot, Mahatma Gandhi’s grandson Arun, two-time Olympic gold medalist Michelle Kwan, New York Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes, actors Kelly Rutherford & Matthew Settle (stars of Gossip Girl), and double-amputee Sargent Dan Nevins (ret.) US Army.

“I am honored to be invited to take part in this fun event to highlight and raise funds to support our returning wounded heroes and their families.  I look forward to trading my combat boots for high heels on this occasion to assist in this noble and important cause.  I have been fortunate to achieve a lot of firsts in my life’s journey, and modeling in a New York City Fashion Show will be a first for me.”

The fashion show will take place Monday night, April 9th at 9 pm EST at Stage 48 in New York City. For more information on the event, visit:  http://www.DressedToKilt.com/
